CUSTOM MADE Last Crusade/Crystal Skulls Jacket

I had a goatskin Raiders which I sold because it no longer fit me and I liked the idea of the LC having a more relaxed cut. I edited the dimensions to better suit my current size and it fits perfectly. The larger armholes do limit the range of movement slightly, but I’m sure that’ll change as it breaks in over time (I also ordered it with sleeve gussets to make moving my arms just that much easier with the large armholes)

I ordered this in horsehide partly because I don’t own one in this type of leather and also because there are hardly any reviews about Wested’s horsehide—I hope this review helps out anyone who is curious about whether or not the extra $30 for horsehide is worth it.

Firstly, the jacket smells great out of the box and has very little grain to it. The few wrinkles and oily texture make it appear slightly distressed, but it’s still very tough. It feels heavy in-hand but doesn’t wear as heavily as you would think. It’s also very supple as opposed to other companies whose jackets are stiff, but that’s not a bad thing—it makes it easy to wear right out of the box. I’m not sure where Wested sources their leathers, but their horsehide is pretty high quality for this price range.

I’m very satisfied with this jacket and with Wested as a company and I plan to order this same jacket in brown cotton in the future for the warmer seasons.

I bought this to replace the first jacket I bought from Wested - a goatskin Indy that I passed down to my little brother when he started college. I haven't much to say about this one other than that it's perfect - it fits me perfectly, the goatskin leather is beautiful, and the pockets are nice and roomy.

I love this jacket! It fits perfectly and is very comfortable. I decided on goatskin and I’m very well pleased. I was surprised when I saw just how quickly it got here after I got the shipping notification as well. The jacket arrived at my house from the UK faster than a lot of items I have sent to me from just a couple states away. I’ll definitely be buying from Wested again!

This was my first time ordering a custom jacket, sight unseen. Wested knocked it out of the park! The LC/CD in goat leather, is soft and beautifully dark brown. The craftsmanship is flawless. My jacket fit perfectly. Shipping was super fast from the UK to AL in 3 days! Crazy! I love my new jacket and hope to enjoy it for many years to come.

This jacket is amazing. I chose the goatskin with a few custom options, and everything is to a "T"...the goat is soft and, as other reviewers have noted, feels more or less bulletproof. The fit, finish, and custom details are perfect. I don't want to take it off. Easily my new favorite jacket, and I have other leather jackets that I've worn for years, though none from Wested until this one. Thank you Mr. Botwright, thank you Wested!
